All Complete Repairs are guaranteed. My standard guarantee is for One Year. Some clock repairers offer two year
guarantees; this is a nice feature, but is usually irrelevant. Any defect in the repair work is overwhelmingly likely to
show up in the first few weeks or months, if not days. Problems occurring after an entire year are almost assured to
be unrelated to the repair. You can send your clock back to the two-year guarantee repairer, but the problem will
probably not be covered by the guarantee because it will most likely be unrelated to the original repair. So, you may
wind up paying for the repair after all.
I fully stand behind my work and don't quibble over details; if the nature of the problem may or may not be related to
my previous repair work, I give the customer the benefit of the doubt, and repair it under the guarantee, without
debate with the customer.

under normal use and service for a period of [Applicable Time Period Here] from date of purchase. Martin Meyer
Clock Repair's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing the product with new or renewed
components. Martin Meyer Clock Repair disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out
of breach of this warranty..
This guarantee covers only labor performed and parts replaced as part of this repair. Damage to parts not replaced
in this repair and malfunctions unrelated to work performed in this repair are not included.
This guarantee does not include damage to product or components resulting from abuse, accident, alteration,
climatic/environmental conditions, damage beyond normal use, mishandling, misuse, or unauthorized repair.
Shipping expenses to Martin Meyer Clock Repair and return shipping expenses are the customer's responsibility.

I am fortunate to have a distributor who guarantees new German-made movements for two years, and I pass this
guarantee on to my customers. My movement exchange guarantee is identical to the guarantee above, but states
"two years" instead of one.

There are certain other less common cases, such as reproduction movements, which may have guarantees of
varying times. I will always make clear what your guarantee will be before I begin work.
